There are many services that can help with mental health and wellbeing. Anything from yoga to running, from groups to social networks, and not forgetting sitting down with friends for a cup of tea, has been found to be good for the mind. Physical Activity and Healthy Eating can also play a huge part in your mental health and you may find it helpful to look at those services in your area as well.

Talking therapies involve a professional therapist who will listen and help you through any issues you have but there are many different types. Support groups are another service that help many people, they involve a number of people who meet to discuss different topics and provide support for each other.

If you are interested in finding out more about mental health services and the different types of therapy NHS Choices is a good place to start.

Rethink and Mind also have comprehensive information about services that are available throughout the UK.
